Kids Heart Felt Health is fortunate to have some
superior chefs who have contributed their talents to our program. Jill Dahan, the chef who developed
our healthy lunch recipes, has over 13 years of experience teaching cooking to adults and children in London, New York, Chicago,
Santa Barbara, Minneapolis, and the Charlotte area. She is also a frequent guest chef on the Charlotte Today
love of cooking started alongside her mother and grandmothers. Upon moving to England in the 1980’s, she began
developing her original repertoire of feel good food that replaces the need for ready made or fast food options.
Her dishes are easy, affordable, clean tasting, and satisfying.
Jill's ideas are based on local easily accessible ingredients that produce dishes in record time with delicious results. Her
cooking classes have also raised money for a number of nonprofit organizations, including the Heart
Foundation, Muscular Dystrophy, Cannon School, Ada Jenkins, Caring Heart, and the Charlotte Catholic Diocese.
